Fees and Funding

All Saints Wise Owls is open Monday to Friday, 38 weeks of the year (during term time).

Our general opening times are 9 am till 3 pm. From September 2024 we are trialing a bookable earlier drop off time of

8.45 am and a slightly later pick up time of 3.15 pm. More information will be shared on booking.

We are a small pre school with a maximum of 15 children at any one time, this enables us to create very close, supportive relationships and truly get to know all children individually.

​

We accept children in receipt of all funding entitlements. We will ask for all relevant information needed on booking. Parents/Carers of children in receipt of funding will be asked to complete and sign a Provider Agreement declaring the number of hours claimed at settings your child attends. Current Rates from APRIL 2024 are: 

​

£17.00 Registration fee (Refunded for funded only children). Required on booking in your child.

£6.00 per hour for children aged 2 years 

£5.50 per hour for children aged 3-4 years 

£17.00 Termly Charge for snacks and consumables- Invoiced at the beginning of the term.

On signing your child’s Registration form, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

Fees are reviewed annually within Committee Meetings. Research into charges within the local area is conducted to ensure we remain fair in our charges.

​

Pre-School fees are charged monthly in advance. Online bank payments are preferred. Payment is expected within the month of the invoice being issued.

​

Invoices will be emailed monthly  for payment to be made at the START of the month. 

​

A 4 week notice period of any additional holidays/absences (outside of school holidays) is required. Once this notice has been given, a 50% discount will be applied to fees (50% payment is still required to keep your child’s space open for them).

​

Absence due to illness will be charged at the normal rate. If, however your child is absent due to long term illness please bring this to the attention of the manager who can discuss it with you.​​

Information

Links with the Community

There is a partnership between All Saints Primary School and the pre-school.  We have regular meetings to exchange information and ideas.  We often take a walk in the village to enjoy nature or to visit the school.  Children are taught road safety procedures and are strongly encouraged to wear reflective clothing.

Helping for the Day!

We enjoy and encourage the link between parent and pre-school.  We welcome parent's help during pre-school sessions at any time.  Most parents find this very rewarding allowing them to see their child within a different surrounding and to see how they are progressing.  There is a parent helper policy which explains the role in more detail.

Uniform

Things can get quite messy so we discourage children from wearing their best clothes!    It is handy to keep a pair of wellies at the school but we do have lots of spares.  All clothes must be clearly named.

Lunchboxes

Lunchboxes are kept cool in our fridge.  We encourage the children to eat the most nutritious parts of their packed lunch first.  We have a healthy eating policy that we hope parents will adhere to.  We recognise that some of our children may have special dietary needs and we are careful that these are observed. Please note: Due to nut allergies we have a strict NO NUT policy.

Outings

Pre-school outings are taken whenever possible.  They are a wonderful way for children to explore the big, wide world and experience new things.  We go to places such as The Donkey Sanctuary, seaside, farms, and fire stations, etc.
