All Saints Wise Owls Preschool

All Saints Wise Owls Pre-School prides itself on being a learning community where the children, parents and staff focus on learning together.  Our staff support the children with warm and positive interactions and stimulate the children’s interests through shared attention and continuous evaluation which in turn encourages effective learning. Staff have high aspirations for all children regardless of ability, gender or ethnicity.  We believe that children grow and develop at different rates and that’s okay.

 

We offer a focus on teaching and learning and help our children to become aware of their goals, consistently respecting children’s efforts and ideas. We encourage self-belief and resilience in all of our children. Children have clear and supportive boundaries, they have a voice and learn to be tolerant and respectful to one another through calm, friendly and positive adult role models.

Happiness and wellbeing are at the core of our values and opportunities for imagination and creative play are always available. When the gates to a child’s imagination are open, anything is possible.

 

The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum weaves through all we do. Key people plan specific learning opportunities and experiences to ensure each child reaches their full potential in all of the following areas; Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.

The staff at Wise Owls values and respects the role parents/carers play in children's learning. We make sure that the relationship we have with all of our families is positive and informative. An open and honest daily dialogue is really important to us as we know it is important to parents, and ultimately the children. 

 

Our Outdoor Environment ensures children have the opportunity to learn about the world around them. We love to spend a lot of our time outside.

Children get to experience activities including Forest School which is powerful in building self-esteem and confidence.

 

Children are nurtured, valued, supported in their unique learning journeys. We work together to ensure that children have the best possible learning experiences and leave each day happy, secure and confident individuals and are ready for school and future adventures.
