About Us

When you decide to place your child into a pre-school or nursery you are, of course, making a very important decision concerning your child's future and well being.  At All Saints Wise Owls, our carefully chosen staff are selected, not just on professional qualifications (the manager is a trained teacher and Early Years Professional) but on their ability to care for your child - helping them to develop academically and socially.

We aim to give young children a variety of valuable experiences to help them to be more sensitive, capable, considerate and creative people.  These experiences include messy play, creative activities, construction, small world fun, role-playing, out of door playing and exploring the wider world.  We use the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to plan lots of appropriate activities to ensure your child reaches their full potential in all of the following areas; Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication, Language and Literacy, Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Physical Development and Creative Development.

The pre-school is run by an elected committee, which ensures the major decision making is in the hands of the parents who use the group.  The committee are responsible for reviewing both policy and practice documents, and for the appraisal of the staff.  Further committee information can be found hereOur recruitment policy ensures that robust safeguarding procedures are followed, all our teaching staff and committee members have been CRB checked.  We are an equal opportunities employer.  A copy of our Constitution can be found here.
